A Night of Saying Yes to Small Things
Practice generosity without overriding boundaries.

Something romantic to do together
For one evening, say yes to reasonable, low-stakes bids for connection: sit beside me, taste this, come outside, listen to this song, rub my shoulders. This is not a promise to say yes to sex or anything uncomfortable. It is an experiment in responding warmly to small invitations.
One concrete act of attention
Surprise your partner by joining something they enjoy but you usually leave to them. Be curious rather than sarcastic. Afterwards, tell them what you liked about seeing them engaged.
In bed: read this together
In bed, take turns making small requests: kiss my neck, hold me tighter, slow down, touch over my underwear, use lubricant, or stay still. Each request can receive yes, no, or an alternative. For intercourse, try lying side by side facing the same direction, with the receiving partner adjusting hip angle and guiding a hand where extra stimulation feels best.
A gentle rule for the week
Enthusiasm matters more than completing the suggestion. Adjust for health, pregnancy, postpartum recovery, disability, pain, energy, privacy, contraception, and personal boundaries.
