Romance this week
A Walk With One Honest Question
Use movement to make a meaningful conversation feel less intense.

Use movement to make a meaningful conversation feel less intense.
Something romantic to do together
Take a thirty-minute walk and ask: 'What would help you feel closer to me this month?' Listen for the need underneath the answer. It may be more help, more affection, more conversation, more playful sex, or less pressure.
One concrete act of attention
Act on one small part of the answer within twenty-four hours. If your partner asks for more affection, initiate a hug. If they ask for rest, take over bedtime. Love becomes believable when the conversation changes something concrete.
In bed: read this together
In bed, ask a matching question: 'What would help your body relax tonight?' The answer might be more time, dimmer light, lubricant, a shower, reassurance, or no sex at all. If intercourse is wanted, start with the receiver on their back and knees supported by pillows. Keep the angle shallow and the pace slow, adding external stimulation if desired.
A gentle rule for the week
Enthusiasm matters more than completing the suggestion. Adjust for health, pregnancy, postpartum recovery, disability, pain, energy, privacy, contraception, and personal boundaries.
