Something romantic to do together
Each partner writes down one realistic date they would genuinely enjoy this week. It might be a café, a sunset drive, a workout together, dessert after the children sleep, or an hour browsing a bookshop. Choose one now and put it in the calendar.
One concrete act of attention
Take responsibility for half the logistics. Arrange childcare, pack what is needed, or make the reservation. Then tell your partner one thing you are looking forward to about being alone with them.
In bed: read this together
Later, ask directly what kind of foreplay your partner would like tonight: kissing, massage, showering together, oral touch, mutual hand stimulation, or simply cuddling. A good position for unhurried intercourse is the coital alignment variation: face-to-face with bodies close and movement kept small, allowing external stimulation through pelvic contact. Adjust or abandon it immediately if it is not comfortable.
A gentle rule for the week
Enthusiasm matters more than completing the suggestion. Adjust for health, pregnancy, postpartum recovery, disability, pain, energy, privacy, contraception, and personal boundaries.
