Romance this week
Breakfast as a Love Letter
Turn an ordinary morning into a small act of devotion.

Turn an ordinary morning into a small act of devotion.
Something romantic to do together
Wake a little earlier and make a simple breakfast your partner genuinely likes. It does not need to be elaborate. Coffee prepared exactly right, warm bread, fruit, or a favorite yogurt can communicate: I notice you. Sit down together for ten minutes rather than handing over food while rushing in different directions.
One concrete act of attention
Leave a handwritten note where it will be found later. Mention one thing you admire and one memory you still smile about. Try: 'I still think about the night we talked until two in the morning. I love that I still want to tell you everything.'
In bed: read this together
That evening, let anticipation start outside the bedroom. Share a slow kiss in the kitchen and tell your partner what you enjoyed about looking after them that morning. In bed, try the receiving partner lying comfortably on their back while the other stays close between or beside the legs. Use hands, kisses, and oral touch only where it is wanted. If you move to intercourse, a face-to-face position with pillows for support keeps the emphasis on eye contact and closeness rather than performance.
A gentle rule for the week
Enthusiasm matters more than completing the suggestion. Adjust for health, pregnancy, postpartum recovery, disability, pain, energy, privacy, contraception, and personal boundaries.
