Romance this week
Let Him Be Looked After
Give the husband affection that is not conditional on fixing, achieving, or initiating.

Give the husband affection that is not conditional on fixing, achieving, or initiating.
Something romantic to do together
Plan something he enjoys without making him organize it. This may be a favorite meal, a drive, a match, music, or an hour with no responsibilities. Ask what helps him feel loved rather than assuming it must be sex.
One concrete act of attention
Offer a compliment that names tenderness, steadiness, humor, attractiveness, or effort. Then initiate a kiss or cuddle if that is welcome. Many men receive little affectionate touch that is not either playful roughness or a prelude they must lead.
In bed: read this together
In bed, let him receive without rushing to reciprocate. Kiss his neck, chest, stomach, thighs, or genitals according to his preferences, and ask what pressure and pace feel best. If you have intercourse, try a face-to-face position with him lying back while his partner controls movement above. The purpose is not a gender rule; it is letting the usual initiator relax and be cared for.
A gentle rule for the week
Enthusiasm matters more than completing the suggestion. Adjust for health, pregnancy, postpartum recovery, disability, pain, energy, privacy, contraception, and personal boundaries.
