Romance this week
The Midweek Hotel Feeling
Create novelty without booking a room.

Create novelty without booking a room.
Something romantic to do together
Change the environment: make the bed neatly, remove laundry, use fresh sheets, bring water to the bedside, and keep the room warm enough to relax. Eat something simple elsewhere so the bedroom feels separate from chores.
One concrete act of attention
Send a playful invitation earlier in the day: 'I would like to meet you in our bedroom at nine. No pressure about what happens - I just want time with you.' Clear invitations can feel more romantic than vague hints.
In bed: read this together
Begin as though you have nowhere else to be. Kiss, undress each other slowly, and pause to appreciate what you see. Try sitting together at the edge of the bed for kissing and touch, then move into whichever familiar position feels best. If you want a suggestion, rear-entry while both lie on their sides can offer close full-body contact without the effort of a kneeling position.
A gentle rule for the week
Enthusiasm matters more than completing the suggestion. Adjust for health, pregnancy, postpartum recovery, disability, pain, energy, privacy, contraception, and personal boundaries.
